Ultimate Paintball: Skirmish ION 2014

Ultimate Paintball is mainly an online business but, as of late, we have been making our way to the paintball events across this great nation. We have already went to Living Legends 7, D-Day in Oklahoma and,  Now we are going to what is supposed to be the biggest event of the year. Invasion of Normandy in Pennsylvania is supposed to have thousands of players and visitors and we are bringing our giant trailer and putting up a tent to sell a huge selection of our items.

This is something very new for our company we have never went to an even this large and we have never went to an event that will take this long to drive. There will be 5 people crammed into our truck and we are driving what could be up to 18 hours (depending on stops). To be honest it is going to be an awful drive but, it will all pay off. We get to hang out with a bunch of people that love the sport. Every day of these events we meet new and interesting people that love the sport that we deal with everyday and they all have interesting stories about playing.

Something that is also really great about these events is that we get to hear, in real time, what people think of our company and think about the products that have been released this year and in recent years. This is always a good thing because it prepares us for future events and lets us know what we could possibly add to our, ever-growing, website.  Paintball is a sport that is constantly changing and evolving so, getting this sort of feedback is vital. If you happen to be coming to this event feel free to let us know what you would like to see on the website or even what we should bring to future events, as we plan to show up to even more next year.

What is great about doing well at these events is that we can upgrade the presentation of our company each time we go. We used to have a small trailer with our name on it and now we have a 50 foot trailer that doubles as a store. Please come check us out at this event and show some love for Ultimate Paintball. We try to do as much as much as we can for our customers so you can definitely expect some great deals in our tent and on our trailer.

As for our website we still have some great deals running, remember you can always get free shipping on orders over $99 to the lower 48 states. This is a great deal that really sets us apart from some of our competitors. They claim to have cheaper prices or claim shipping is cheaper until you actually get through the checkout and you are paying $15 or more to get it shipped to you. We also have a deal running right now (7/1/14) with planet eclipse where you will receive the a free gear bag with the purchase of an LV1 or GEO 3.1

Pick Your Style/Position. Then Play!

two paintball guns

Purchasing a paintball gun is a bit like buying a car. Do you want slick and fast? How about large and powerful? The same considerations hold true with paintball guns.

Style

There are as many different styles of play in paintball as there are personalities, as well as different setups for paintball guns. Will your style require an electronic trigger and loader to increase the rate of fire? Will you plan on spending most of your time waiting for that “perfect shot,” which would require greater accuracy? Matter of fact, how is your accuracy, depending upon where you are shooting from?

Upgrades

There are many paintball guns pre-packaged or pre-designed for specific positions or shooting types, but they’ll be more expensive than the base model, since they’ll include the necessary upgrades for the look and function of that style. If you don’t have a large budget, keep your style in mind and be sure to ask about possible upgrades.

The eNMEy is Upon Us!!!

In 1995 paintball technology was redefined by the release of the Shocker electro-pneumatic paintgun. In 2005, the Ion re-defined the paintball marketplace by bringing the tournament level performance of an electro-pneumatic paintgun into the price range of the average paintball player. Now, the creative minds behind the Shocker and Ion are changing the face of paintball again with the eNMEy. The benefits of a spool valve design have been well known to tournament paintball players for years. Now GOG Paintball is excited to build this technology into a paintball marker within the reach of a first-time player. “From the beginning, we’ve focused on giving the player more value for their investment in the game,” says GOG’s Adam Gardner. “You really have to shoot the eNMEy to see why we’re so excited. The pneumatic trigger we’ve designed has a pull that is short, crisp and fast, so the marker shoots smooth as silk. This is a whole new level of performance for this price range. People just don’t expect a marker that isn’t electronic to shoot this well.”

Today we have a complete section on our website just for the eNMEY! Several packages and colors to choose from. If you want just the marker or marker, tank, hopper and mask to full blow mega, sniper and nitro packages! We have you covered!

Playing with the eNMEy is a breath of fresh air! Advanced technology in an extremely simple package! Runs on Co2 or HPA. This gun is quiet and accurate to boot. It’s light also! Which doesn’t wear you out during a full weekend of play! Maintenance is simple too. Simply remove the back cap, with the supplied allen wrench, slide the internals out the back of the gun. Wipe them down with a clean cloth. Lube the bolt with Dow 33 grease. Install the bolt and screw on the back cap and your ready for the next round of paintball! I highly suggest you check out the GOG eNMEy! At it’s price point, you could see a changing of the guard on, Go to Markers for field owners and newbies alike!

The Dye Assault Matrix

The Dye Assault Matrix was built from the ground up to be the ultimate product for tactical players. We wanted to provide the industry with a stunning tactical marker that gives users the performance of a high-end tournament marker, as well as the aesthetics and features that tactical players need to thrive on the battlefield. The DAM™ has the ability to switch from a Magazine Fed system to a Loader Fed system with the flip of a switch, it can seamlessly change firing modes (semi, three round burst, full auto), comes standard with Picatinny rails for accessorizing, a gas-through frame, an easily maintainable bolt with a quick release system and built in hyper regulator, clamping feedneck, competition-style single trigger frame, Dye Tactical Sticky Grips, and much more. The Dye Assault Matrix delivers the perfect combination of performance and versatility, catering to all styles of play and giving users that edge on the scenario field that only Dye can provide. The weight of the DAM™ is 4.76 lbs without the clip.

Be the most versatile player on the field with the all new OTF system. Combined with the rotating eye pipe gearing, this system allows the operator of the DAM unprecedented options for loading capabilities. With the slide of the OTF switch, the operator can seamlessly move from traditional hopper fed, to magazine fed loading, and back again at a moments notice. Use your shaped projectile rounds when you need precise shots and go back to regular paint when volume is necessary.

The DAM comes magazine feed ready. Ambidextrous magazine release for right and left handed users makes reloading a snap and allows you to keep an extremely low profile, even when reloading. All Dye magazines are Shaped Projectile ready and waiting to deliver each shot just like a real firearm. Leave the accuracy-by-volume to the trigger monkeys and do it like the big boys. One shot, one kill.

With the push of a button the DAM can switch from Semi Auto to Three Round Burst to Fully Automatic, or if you want to get fancy you can even program specific firing modes that cater to your style of play. All changes can be done with your gun fully assembled, even mid-game. A board lockout can be implemented to get you on the tournament field or any firing-mode-restricted areas. Precision or volume, just a button away.

The quick release bolt system is a feature on the DAM that incorporates magnets within the knurled back cap. These magnets allow for the back cap to extend and give you enough surface area to grip the bolt and unscrew it by hand. This makes maintenance of your bolt easier than ever before.

The Eye Pipe, patent pending, internal design houses multiple critical systems that ensure worry free performance. The polycarbonate pipe shields the self-cleaning anti-chop eye system from dirt and broken paint, ensuring the eyes are always monitoring the breech and ball drop. The seamless pipe is wiped clean by the bolt tip o-ring on every cycle. The Eye Pipe system also eliminates miss feeds and double feeding. In addition it eliminates external eye plates and the potential of stripped or corroded eye plate mounting screws.

With even easier Toolless access to the battery and extra thick ergonomic design, this all new grip improves on every aspect of these top-of-their class grips grips.

The two interchangeable shroud sections and front cap allow the operator to reconfigure the DAM for any style of play. With all shroud sections installed, the DAM has over 2 Feet of standard Picatinny rails. All side and bottom rails are removable and interchangeable. Picatinny rails are standard for fire arms and will allow attachment of any standard optics, grips, etc.

Based on a custom design by Youngblood himself, the DAM’s trigger incorporates vertical ridges and an extra wide face, used by top firearms competition shooters. This design ensures steady trigger feel even in the most adverse conditions with or without gloves. Customizable forward and backward travel with spring tension adjustment create the perfect pull.

The all new In-Line regulator is based on the proven Hyper line of regulators and improves on it with the easiest access and simplest break down of any gun Dye has made. With the Quick Release Bolt any operator can toollessly access their bolt and regulator in one simplified assembly. Now all parts that require standard maintenance are accessed with 2 turns. With velocity adjustment accessible through the back cap, we’ve moved the regulator out of the way for that real military look and operation.

The DAM comes standard with a feedneck Cover Plate that can replace the feedneck assembly giving the operator an unbroken top Picatinny Rail compatible with all standard military optics. Reduces your profile and gives your DAM the most realistic look and feel. It also comes with an adjustable cam lock feedneck allows you to securely lock you loader onto your gun without tools. DYE’s cam lock feed neck sits low and tight on the marker making sure your loader stays low profile with the rest of your gear.

The Paintball Markers You Forgot About – Pistols

We know the kind of weaponry making heads turn at stores and intriguing eyes on our Ultimate Paintball website.  Sure, the latest and greatest paintball markers by Spyder, Tippmann, and other manufacturers is a site to excite any paintball player, yet lesser known, lesser used markers are valuable as well.  When was the last time you considered supplementing your big gun with pistol paintball markers?

To start, we’d like to encourage use of a pistol as primary paintball markers despite contrary opinions.  Sure, using a pistol has drawbacks including the opportunity to hold less paintballs, less air, and the need for more patience, but there are advantages too.  Sometimes simplicity and skill is all you need to make an impact on the field.  Have you ever caught the look of an opposing player, holding a high-powered gun in hand, finding they just got taken out by a pistol?  It’s a priceless sight!

However, we’re not opposed to progress.  The design and response of markers has come a long way.  There’s a lot of damage to be done with an advanced paintball marker.  Taking a look through our site, you’ll see we definitely encourage the use of high-end guns too.

Using a pistol as a secondary weapon might be the best approach to take.  If you like the idea, consider how fast you can load a particular model along with its size and weight.  Some pistols are pretty elementary in design, taking a long time to reload.  Others are relatively quick to load and worth consideration as a secondary weapon.  Additionally, think practically.  Pistols are smaller than normal, high-end paintball markers but vary in size.  Make sure you can comfortably store the pistol on your person during play and easily aim, letting paintballs fly with one hand.

A pistol comes in the handiest when most needed.  Imagine your ensconced in that crucial moment where it’s either going to be you or your opponent who soon meets their fate.  Your knee deep in exchanging fire and it’s time to reload.  You think, “Damn!  Now they have the advantage.”  And they might know it.  However, if you’re packing an extra paintball marker you don’t have to sacrifice needed seconds.  You can grab the pistol and continue taking those crucial shots.

Do you have additional questions regarding pistols or other types of paintball markers?  We love to hear from current and potential customers!  Shoot us (haha – get it?) an email or give us a call.

Our courteous staff would be more than happy to address your questions.

Tips on Buying Paintball Markers

Paintball markers to the game of paintball are like a hockey stick to hockey or a baseball bat to baseball – they’re integral pieces of the game.  That being understood, purchasing paintball markers warrants some premeditation.  Sure, any gun would do, yet your style of play along with other factors should make an impact on your final decision.  Consider the following tips.

To start, where are you considering purchasing paintball markers of interest?  Be careful of retailers offering high prices and cheap equipment.  Do some shopping on and offline, taking note of popular manufacturers and general prices associated.  Lucky for you, the Ultimate Paintball site offers a large selection of leading paintball markers from the most respected manufacturers associated with the sport!  We offer our customers ongoing deals in conjunction with weekly cyber deals!

Next, consider your style of play.  If you’re a complete novice, think about renting guns rather than immediately buying paintball markers.  Give yourself some time to develop a sense of the game and your individual style of play.  After some time, you may desire a gun that is most aligned with the way you enjoy playing the game.

For instance, if you’re highly offensive, you’ll want a gun with a rapid rate of fire and a light trigger.  On the other hand, you may be a patient player, one described as a “sniper,” waiting for the precise moment to take a shot. In this case, you’ll want paintball markers offering high precision.  Snipers sometimes purchase pump guns.  The guns have a closed bolt system, allowing for an even distribution of airflow.

Talk to members of our courteous staff or other players.  Those with more experience can offer insight regarding your style of play and what paintball markers work best with that particular style.

In addition to your style of play, consider some other factors before making a gun purchase such as upgradability, comfort, and the manufacturer.  Rather than continuously evolving and buying guns to match your experience, think about purchasing a gun with upgrade capabilities to start.  You can save yourself a lot of money down the road that way.  Don’t disregard your level of comfort.  If your gun is not comfortable to tote and shoot, you’re going to be at a disadvantage.  The Ultimate Paintball site offers all the leading manufacturers in the game.  If you see it featured on our site, you know it’s a well-respected product.

Think before you Purchase a Paintball Marker

The game of paintball is addictive. Whether you were excited or apprehensive about your first time, chances are you immediately loved the feeling of a paintball marker in your hand and your opponents in your sights.  Regular players enjoy owning their own equipment rather than renting.  Consider the following information before purchasing a paintball marker (or “gun” if you’re a complete novice to the sport).

To begin, be realistic regarding how much you’re projecting to play the game.  Are you going to play once a month, once a week, several times a week, etc?  Of course, your equipment influences how well you play the game.  You can get away with purchasing a basic paintball marker, yet such a purchase may be disadvantageous to you when you’re up against foes with superior weapons.  If you’re going to play once a week or more, then it may be a wise decision to take a look at high-end guns.

Of course, you have to consider how much you want to invest.  Lucky for you, you came across this post and now know about our Ultimate Paintball site, offering ongoing deals on high-end paintball markers and other equipment.  Do some comparison shopping across the Web; you’ll find we offer incredible prices.  Obviously, better equipment costs more.  If you’d like, refer to our contact information and speak to one of our representatives about available selections.

What kind of games do you intend to play?  If you’re playing leisurely, mildly-intense games with friends, a basic paintball marker may suffice.  If you want to compete on a team or in a long-standing scenario game, you probably want a paintball marker that offers more power, precision, and extras.  We have it all here; get a basic gun or make a purchase with all the wanted “bells and whistles” that would make any paintball player very pleased.

If you’re first starting out and on a budget, consider other equipment you may immediately need, including protective gear.  Paintball is an intense sport.  Injuries can easily occur if the right precautions are not taken.  Peruse our site to find all the gear and equipment needed to play any style of game.  We offer great deals on all merchandise.  Depending on your budget, you may be able to get everything you need for less than you expected!  Aren’t you glad you found the Ultimate Paintball site?!
